About Us

Jellyfish isn’t just about bikinis - it’s about connection, community, and giving back to the women who make it all possible.

I’d already started Jellyfish before visiting Bali in April of 2025, but that trip gave the brand its soul. By complete coincidence, my villa was next door to a small boutique run by a woman named Mimi. I wandered in one afternoon, we started talking, and she mentioned she made bikinis. I said, “No way - I have a bikini brand.”

From there, we just clicked. Every morning for the next three weeks, I’d visit her shop with a coffee and a new bikini sketch. Together we brought each design to life - talking, laughing, and learning from each other. By the end of my trip, we weren’t just working together... we had built a true friendship.

Before I left, Mimi shared that she’d lost her husband the year before and was struggling to support her son’s education. That conversation changed my perspective completely. Jellyfish was no longer just my personal dream - it became a way to give back and create opportunity for the women who make it all possible.

Today, every Jellyfish piece is handmade by Balinese artisans who sew, bead, and crochet with incredible skill and care. Our mission is to create ethical, high-quality swimwear that supports the hands behind it.
